Environmental Resources
- Olympic Driftwood Sculptors is a new and exciting organization established in October 2008, to share and promote the art of driftwood (found wood) sculpture on the Olympic Peninsula .
- The Olympic National Forest: provide much information on the national forest lands that circle the peninsula. Brief presentations that interpret forest ecosystems, found in the Ecosystem Management subheading, are crucial to an understanding of the forested upper watershed of the Dungeness.
- The Puget Sound Water Quality Action Team (PSWQAT): leads and coordinates efforts to protect Puget Sound, including the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our staff liaison for Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap counties is John Cambalik.
- Streamkeepers of Clallam County: organizes local residents to monitor our streams, in support of watershed planning, resource protection, and habitat enhancement.
- The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture: at the University of Washington has served the people of the State of Washington as the premier museum of natural history and culture for about 115 years.
- Dungeness River Management Team: site is produced by staff of the DRMT to describe objectives, organization, and activities recommended in several local water-resource plans.
