Plants found in the vicinity of the Railroad Bridge Park and the Dungeness River Natural History Center

The common names for trees that are highlighted in color and underlined are hyperlinks to photographic images of examples of those trees from "Trees of the Dungeness" by Steve Koehler. Each can be displayed by clicking the highlighted term, then clicking the browser's BACK button to return to the text. Alternatively, the whole set of examples used here can be seen (at reduced size) and a reference to Koehler's interactive computer program work obtained by clicking Trees . (There are slight nomenclature differences between Holden's text and Koehler's image labels, and a different willow species is shown.
