Invitation for Art In the Park 2011
Friday, July 29 - Tuesday, August 2, 2011
The Dungeness River Audubon Center and Railroad Bridge Park

You are invited to share your unique interpretation of the Dungeness region in this fourth annual multimedia, non-juried show.

The River Center has space for about 40 pieces and each artist is limited to one piece. All proceeds from this event will be used to support educational programs offered through the River Center.

Because this is a fundraising event, we ask that the piece you select be for sale with 25% of the sales price donated to the Dungeness River Audubon Center. It is our experience that pieces priced between $50 and $300 sell best. There is a $20 entry fee, which should be paid when you bring your piece in for the exhibit before noon on Thursday, July 28.

Two-dimensional work, such as paintings and photographs, should not exceed 20” x 28”, and need to be framed and ready for hanging. If you select a three-dimensional piece, you may provide your own pedestal. We reserve the right to refuse inappropriate pieces.

Throughout the event, artists are also invited to demonstrate their talents and skills. We invite you to be part of this unique opportunity to do painting, sculpting, or other media in or near the Center, on Railroad Bridge, or other locations during the event. Please consider being a part of this unique opportunity and pass the information along to others you know who may be interested.

Complete and mail the application form with your intent to participate by Friday, June 24, 2011. Final details will be sent after we hear from you. The entrance fee should be paid when you deliver your piece for the exhibit. Meanwhile, should you have questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
